I had this nice story I was writing and was even considering posting up on Tumblr (because as a writer I feel the need to either burn my work or show it off), and then my computer screen broke. Which then caused my computer to crash. Which caused it to erase every bit of new memory it received in the last two days. That included that story I was planning on finishing tonight. Had my computer lasted a few more hours I would have been able to save it properly. This is why I can’t have nice things.
(At least my laptop still works provided I hook it up to an auxiliary monitor.)

But first I’m just going to complain that people need to stop making side blogs. I mean you’re all wonderful, but very hard to keep track of. If you keep changing your residency how will I fill my day with your awesome?
No, seriously I finished writing my piece for creative writing. Like finished, finished. I checked it for grammar and everything. I’m even kind of proud of it (I mean it’s still crap, but it’s crap that I kind of like). Sure that doesn’t sound like much, but this is a huge accomplishment for a procrastinator. Now on to finishing things that actually matter. (Or getting the RP blog running, or figuring out why that application didn’t go through, or following all those side blogs, or even finishing the other thing I wanted to write.)

I was originally going to post about how taking a trip left me without my laptop charger, which in turn meant I couldn’t do the hardcore gaming session I was planning for this week; however, instead it seems like forgetting that has left me out of some large drama or something. I don’t know.
Here’s to hoping I mis-read the situation. (Though I’m still sad about the lack of vidya games too)
